"Buildings of Chicago"
I decided to do this abstract painting to remind myself of my Chicago trip that I went on in September of 2018. I always thought that the buildings in Chicago were unique because they are so antique and aged. Even though this is my first watercolor, I believe that I did the best that I could. My favorite part about this painting is the larger gray/blue that has the most detail. The tint in the windows really have a cartoon effect to them as well. I also believe on the red building to the left I used a good contrast between the red orange and blue. I'm glad that I painted this painting because it keeps hold of the memories from my trip with my family.
